Textural Industrial Excursions form Progy Dystopian Doom Groove

WHAT

Ruiner Severhead's "The Jesus Fist Tapes" is a bold approach in the realm of the concept album. It's instrumental. With only spoken word samples ripped from questionable sources on the internet. All of them from Christians in varied stages of rationality.

The Tapes (as it's called) is designed as a soundtrack to tell "a classic children's bedtime horror story, illustrating how fast America willfully turns into a crypto fascist theocracy after a series of successive terrorist attacks". Fear "The FIST"

SOUND

Take 1 part aural textures of a dystopian future.

Add Dark Ages Christian theology in the form of spoken word.

Throw in a modern totalitarian vibe with heavy beats, crowd chants, twisted bass guitars contorted and caked in varied degrees of neo-industrial fuzz & distortion and you have The Jesus Fist Tapes! The soundtrack for the march towards a neo-christian fascism. Put it on at family gatherings this holiday!

KEY TRACK "Don't Tase Me, Bro! (Righteous Discipline)"

This piece is both powerful in it's implication (the march toward neo-christian fascism is paved with heavy handed police actions for even minor offenses) but also in it's sonic excecution.

A barage of carefully crafted noise dances across the spectrum over heavy beats and riffs while the now familiar sounds of being tased ring out between all the mayhem.

If one could hear the collective sound of millions of retarded campus security guards tasing students across the country, this song is probably what it would sound like. Our future? Ruiner Severhead seems to think so.
